Vocabulario Geek: Talibán ortográfico (o grammar Nazi)

tildeQue Internet está haciendo mierda destruyendo el lenguaje (en realidad la ortografía) ya no es noticia. Por foros, redes sociales, webs, y salas de chat se ven faltas ortográficas que harían que a mi profesora de primaria le de un infarto (aunque lo de “culpa de Internet” es sólo un decir). Me parece que se ven cada vez más HOYGANS por la red (excusándose con que hay que ahorrar tiempo al escribir o que lo importante es que la gente se entienda) y si creen que exagero den una mirada a Hoygan.info para encontrar cientos de “ejemplos reales” (que de paso sirven para reírse un poco) como este:

Habeces pierdo la paciencia por que hai cosas que me molestan (…)

Lamentablemente estas cosas se contagian si uno no tiene cuidado. Considero que hace algunos años yo tenía una ortografía aceptable porque acostumbraba leer bastante pero hoy, luego de haber dejado (lamentablemente) un poco el hábito de la lectura, tengo que pensarlo dos veces antes de usar, por ejemplo, s/c/z; y es que la buena ortografía se adquiere (y mantiene) leyendo cosas escritas correctamente, pero si uno sólo lee las cosas que encuentra en webs o foros…

Por suerte, en algunos foros o webs (generalmente las que tienen cierto nivel) rondan guardianes que velan porque no se destruya el idioma. Estos guardianes son los Talibanes Ortográficos.

Se llama Talibán Ortográfico (y en inglés Grammar Nazi) a:

aquella persona que escribe mensajes en foros de discusión, grupos de noticias u otros sitios web con el ánimo de corregir la ortografía o la gramática del mensaje al cual responde.

Nota: En este caso se usa talibán / nazi sin ningún sentido político o religioso. Simplemente para remarcar que son personas estrictas con las normas ortográficas.

Es fácil encontrarlos en Barrapunto, corrigiendo a aquellos que infringen las normas. Por ejemplo:

Mensaje: ya biene con un S.O basado en Linux
Respuesta: Viene se escribe con uve de venir, y no con be de burro. Por favor, no me deis tanto trabajo, cuidad esos errores de bulto.

Mensaje: (…)solo cuando hayas entendido el concepto(…)
Respuesta: Si defendemos el buen uso de las tildes y demás, no escribamos solo cuando queremos decir solamente.

Mensaje: Y tu deberías aprender a no dar consejos gratuitos a quién no te los ha pedido.
Respuesta: Ese “a quién no te los ha pedido” no es interrogativo, sino que funciona como complemento indirecto, luego debería escribirse “a quien no te los ha pedido”.

En Barrapunto hay un artículo en donde se comenta acerca de ellos. También existen talibanes semánticos, sintácticos y léxicos.

Recuerden, el estar escribiendo “en Internet” no es excusa para matar el idioma.

    Por el trabajo he tenido que aprender a tildar las palabras y escribir un poquito mejor, aún tengo errores, pero se busca mejorar, en lugar de escusar mi ignorancia :P

    Lo de las tildes omitidas intencionalmente tenía sentido cuando algunos clientes de correo no podía mostrar caracteres especiales, pero ahora… falta poco para que se ponga: “reglas ortográficas omitidas intencionalmente” :p
